I followed up with the support team, and they suggested I buy a new art pen.
I did, and the issue still persists, only when moving from botttom to top of screen, or when holding the pen so that the buttons are on the left side. It is either an issue with the cintiq or ALL art pens

Re: Art Pen "Stepping" Issue - Pressure Broken
SO Wacom Support suggested i buy a new Art Pen stylus.
I did, and the pressure stepping issue and shoelace effect still occur.
I think this must be an issue with how sensitive or janky the art pens themselves are. Because I dont get this bad effect when using the default wacom pens

Re: Art Pen "Stepping" Issue - Pressure Broken
Hi, I have seen the other thread and the Reddit post. I can see pressure wise (for rotation see my reply in the other post) the pen behaves correctly with the Cintiq so the issue is probably related with the settings in the Intuos Pro. Can you confirm the model number of the Intuos Pro you are usin...

Re: Art Pen Rotation Issues
Hello, The Reddit post has been removed by mods so I cannot see what you wrote there. what you describe sounds like a potential Hardware issue with the pen. It would be better to contact our support for some more troubleshooting and a solution if the Hardware issue is confirmed. Thanks for the resp...

Art Pen Rotation Issues
Hey everyone, I am using a Wacom Art Pen so that I can rotate my stylus and have the brush tool rotate the same way. However, the results are wildly inconsistent. When moving my stylus across the Cintiq or tablet, the rotation settings freak the hell out and go haywire, rotating the brush tool in ra...

Art Pen "Stepping" Issue - Pressure Broken

Re: Uneven Pressure Sensitivity?
Hey Patrick!
I'm using a Wacom Cintiq 32 pro, and also have an Intuous pro medium. I'm using the Wacom Art Pen (the one with rotation settings).
I have noticed that the art pen has this issue more than the others, but it isn't completely nonexistent in the others.

Wacom Art Pen Rotation Settings Not Working?
Hey everyone, I'm using a Wacom Art Pen with Photoshop 2019, and the rotation options are no longer working. When I try to enable it, I get a little Pyramid with an exclamation point in it, as if i'm using a pen that doesnt support that function. What's odd is that it was working up until two days a...

Uneven Pressure Sensitivity?
Hey everyone, When painting with a brush that has pressure sensitivity enabled, all of my strokes' thickness are jittery, and have a "stepping" falloff at the beginning and end of the stroke. Anyone else experience this? It looks so ugly. (i don tknow how to post photos on this forum, if s...
