problem Catalina Lightroom Intuos s
Good morning I write this post as I have a series of problems, I updated the mac to Catalina because having Sierra still I could not update Lightroom so now I have the new OS on Mac and Lightroom latest version, but the problem is that the pen of the Wacom Intuos it jerks, it becomes frustrating to work on it, I uninstalled and installed the new driver but nothing to do. Now I would like to understand if the problem is attributable to Lightroom (perhaps too heavy for my Mac) or if the problem is Catalina in conjunction with Lightroom or as a third hypothesis if my tablet is a bit dated, mod. PTH450 I state that the problem of the pen that makes me move the pointer jerky does not arise instead with the touch so to be clear if instead of the pen I use the finger row straight away. In addition, during the export of Lightroom, the whole Mac becomes slow, so to speak, while I am writing, the typing jerks, the letters are written slowly and sometimes someone loses it. I enclose the characteristics of the computer: Imac27 ", proc 2.9 Ghz Intel Core I5 quad-core, ram 24 gb 1600 Mhz ddr3, ssd disk 250gb, graphics card Nvidia GeForce GTX 660M 512 MB. I state that before the changes listed above I had no problem. Thank you who will help me. Ivan

Re: Mac - Pen strokes are Jagged/Input Lag After Updating to Catalina
I tried the steps listed, but it did not help, unfortunately.
The lag is quite constant, though intermittently it gets even worse than average.

Re: Mac - Pen strokes are Jagged/Input Lag After Updating to Catalina
I will add that the lag, for me, isn’t always present. When using it now I see no noticeable difference between using the tablet and a mouse like I did earlier today.
Re: Mac - Pen strokes are Jagged/Input Lag After Updating to Catalina
Any news on this? It’s still very annoying to have a cursor with a low fps :/
Re: Mac - Pen strokes are Jagged/Input Lag After Updating to Catalina
Do you notice any performance spikes in the Activity monitor? We would need to collect some data to understand what could be causing the issue. I have tried reproducing this and I am not able to do so.
Please open the Wacom Desktop Center > Support > Driver logging and turn it On. Work with the tablet a little but and then repeat the steps above and package the log files and then please contact our support team - https://support.wacom.com - and send them these files.

Re: Mac - Pen strokes are Jagged/Input Lag After Updating to Catalina
Experiencing same issue, specially every time there's a CPU spike.
Cursor lags A LOT, doesn't happen with mouse or trackpad.
macOS Catalina,
Wacom Driver 6.3.38-3

Re: Mac - Pen strokes are Jagged/Input Lag After Updating to Catalina
btw, the clean install instructions look outdated, couldn't find some file and gave up midway.
please make it a bash script to run in terminal as one command, it's way way too long

Re: Mac - Pen strokes are Jagged/Input Lag After Updating to Catalina
cool, that fixed it, no longer experiencing jerkiness/lag, downgrading to 6.3.37-3 worked. Looks like this version doesn't have the com.wacom.IOmanager task, which I guess could be the culprit.
Praying to Yoda, Vishnu, Baby Jesus,
and all the religious figures that I don't get more lag.
