Stuck modifier key issue (Yup, still there.)

@wacom5 - is there any update on this issue?

The feedback we received has been very helpful tracking the source of the issue wich was very hard in the past. The challenge is that there is no only one cause for this problem to trigger so extensive development and testing is need before a fix is released with a future driver update. The Devs know how important this is and are diligently working on it.

Happy to report no issues so far! Thank the devs for fixing!! I'm sure I'm not alone in saying this has been the most infuriating experience I've ever had with a tablet in my life, what a relief! Thanks again, very much appreciated.

Edited to add - Meant to say I performed a clean install by removing all files as per this link:

I mentioned this before, but I removed my preferences and any system files with 'wacom' in them and I double-checked this. When I installed the new driver, my preferences were already in place again, even the mapping coordinates of the tablet area, so it seems like the preferences are stored somewhere else?

This definitely instills a renewed commitment to Wacom for me, thank you so much for all of the work put in on resolving this. In my attempts to mitigate this over the years, in addition to getting several new keyboards, I had all features other than the pen input itself turned off. Now that this is fixed and I'm starting to use features like the pen buttons and tablet buttons, it really feels like a new device. I want to apologize that my initial input on this topic was so filled with frustration, and I really am grateful for this to be working after so long.

Hello Wacom Team, thanks a lot for fixing the issue... now i can finally use the tablet to its full functionality...

I have another issue, but not so heavy as the sticky modifier.

I have a Button on the Remote defined as ALT-Modifier, to pickup colors for my brush... and sometimes it get stuck and I have to push the Alt-Button on the Keyboard a view times to release the Button on Remote again.

But the Rest is very fine and its such a nice tool... a pleasure to work with...
