Interesting. Could this be a cable issue? So far I've tested 3 different USB-C -> USB-C cables:
- This Belkin one: https://www.belkin.com/us/p/P-F2CD082/
- MacBook Pro's own charging cable
- Google Nexus 6P's data cable
What is also odd is that Wacom is saying above that the Desktop Mode should not work after the BIOS updates and yet there are two users who say otherwise.
Edit: Do you have MSP 13 or 16? We have 13.
Edit 2: I've also used the "Reset this PC" from Windows 10 to reinstall it but that didn't help either.
We got pretty similar setups, so I don't think it's the cable. I also have the MSP 13 (128gb-8gbram) and tested with the macbook charging cable, but that one does not work at all, as it doesn't support data.
I also tested with the Nexus 5x cable, which I think it's the same as the 6P. That one works as intended, but I get some input lag, so I ordered a thunderbolt cable: https://www.startech.com/Cables/thunder ... LT34MM50CM
Your Nexus cable should work, and the Belkin TB should definitely work. Must be something else. Just to rule out everything, you're using the center port, right?
Yes, I'm using the center port. I've tried all port combinations between MSP and MBP but no success. Our MSP is the one with i7, 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD. I believe your device is i5 so that is one difference.
