I have the Wacom adapter.
It has a USB-c out to USB which I can plug into my HUB or MB.
However, I believe I am also supposed to use the Thunderbolt?
My MB doesn't have a thunderbolt in, just a DVI.
So what are the solutions to this if I understand it correctly?
Using Windows 10.

Re: Using the MSP as a PC screen. Thunderbolt with adapter.
I got a PremiumCord Mini DisplayPort - DVI cable.
I plug it directly into my MB of my PC and the other end into the wacom adapter so I am not using that cable that came with it.
Plugged in the USB to my Windows 10 PC.
MSP doesn't respond.

Have you ran all the updates in your MobileStudio Pro? Please check and see if there are any available in the Wacom Desktop Center. One of the latest security BIOS updates has disabled Desktop Mode. We are working on a follow up BIOS update at the moment.

Re: Using the MSP as a PC screen. Thunderbolt with adapter.
I have ran all the updates including the Bios update which locked me completely out of my MSP and I had to re-install everything again.
My current driver is 6.3.30-6
So does that mean I can't use the Desktop mode until a new Bios update gets released?

Re: Using the MSP as a PC screen. Thunderbolt with adapter.
My cable extension is a 1.1 rated mini displayport cable. Looks like I need a 1.2
If I knew this weeks ago I could have been working the way I want to and get a refund on my 1.1 cable.
So let me get this right, I don't need any new BIOS update coming I just need to a 1.2 not a 1.1 cable?

Desktop mode is disabled? Just when using adapters or also for direct connection? I´m asking this because mine look like its working on direct connect, and Im going to buy a thunderbolt cable to have less lag, so I want to know if I will lose that function if I make some update before buying an expensive cable. Thanks.

Re: Using the MSP as a PC screen. Thunderbolt with adapter.
I would also like to know if the desktop mode is not available in the latest Wacom drivers? We have a MobileStudio Pro 13 and would like to connect it to Macbook Pro via USB-C. We're planning on buying the Wacom Link so we can connect MSP also to a PC via mini displayport + usb.
If the current driver and/or firmware does not support desktop mode, when is a new driver version going to be released?
