Is there any way to turn Touch Ring into normal buttons on MSP16?
Is there any way to turn Touch Ring into normal buttons on MSP16?
On Mobile Studio Pro 16", is there any way to turn the Touch Ring into simple normal buttons, like it was on Cintiq Companion?

This is not possible.

Re: Is there any way to turn Touch Ring into normal buttons on MSP16?
thanks.
Thats a pity
I find the touch ring not precise enough and lacking physical feedback to the fingers. The rocker ring on Companion 2 was more convenient...

Appreciate the feedback. Just to be sure, have you tried adjusting the sensitivity slider for each setting?

Perhaps with a slower or faster activation you, will have a better experience. Might need some fine tuning before it feels right.

Thanks for the tip. Indeed with slower setting the control is a little better. But not ideal. My main problem is residual motion - when I finish rotating the ring and raise my finger off it, it will sometimes repeat the function one more time, which takes sometimes several additional tries to adjust again, because if I touch the ring and release again, it will sometimes once more produce this movement.
And the lack of tangible feedback adds to the issue, as my fingers never really know exactly how many times the function is executed. For example using the ring for flipping between exact numbers of frames is quite cumbersome, so in the end I gave up and assigned shortcuts to express buttons instead...

I see. That is actually quite specific and quite helpful. We appreciate it a lot.
