Is anyone having issues running Wacom Display Settings on a M1 MacBook Pro 16 using USB C?
I have a Cintiq pro 16 2021 version, it works fine on my M1 Mac mini (macOS 12.0.1), but on the M1 MacBook Pro 16 the Wacom Display Settings app when launched, would immediately display a "compatible display device not found" error.
I have, so far, tried reinstalling macOS (12.0.1, can't go lower than that on this new M1 MacBook Pro), joined the beta program and installed macOS 12.1 RC2, tried all three USB C ports, tried HDMI, tried the current Wacom driver 6.3.44-2, tried an old Wacom driver 6.3.44-1, tried various uninstall/install/reboot/shutdown combination, com.wacom.IOManager is present and checked off in Accessibility, WacomTabletDriver is present and checked off in Input Monitoring, I even added FirmwareUpdater/TabletDriver/WacomTabletDriver/WacomTouchDriver to both Accessibility and Input monitoring then restarted but to no avail, Wacom Display Settings always throws a "compatible display device not found" error immediately upon launch, the pen display otherwise works perfectly with the M1 MacBook Pro 16, no issues whatsoever, just that the Wacom Display Settings app won't work.
One thing I did notice that's different from the M1 Mac mini is that the "Touch On/Touch Off" onscreen notification when switching the touch on/off on the Cintiq is displayed on the monitor that's set as the "main display" in System Preferences on the M1 MacBook Pro 16, on the M1 Mac mini it's always displayed on the Cintiq.
Anyone else having this issue? Search on the internet isn't yielding anything M1 MacBook Pro 14/16 or M1 Pro/Max related.

Re: Cintiq Pro 16 (2021) Wacom Display Settings App Not Working on Mac
Hello,
From what you describe, it looks like the Cintiq Pro is not properly being detected as a display by the operating system. Have a look at the Mac system report and see if the external display is properly detected. Please review the connection again if possible.
We also just released a new driver. While I don't think this is a driver issue, please update it just to be sure.
I would also kindly ask you to contact our support so we can troubleshoot the issue further.

Re: Cintiq Pro 16 (2021) Wacom Display Settings App Not Working on Mac
I'm seeing exactly the same. Also, the display will only run at 2560x1440 resolution and not the full 4k resolution when the driver is installed making it horribly blurry. If the driver isn't there then it's detected as a 4k display and will run at 3840x2160 as it should.
I'm using it with a 14" M1 Max MacBook Pro.

Re: Cintiq Pro 16 (2021) Wacom Display Settings App Not Working on Mac
That is strange. The driver should have no influence in the resolution of the display. The driver only handles the Pen, Touch and Keys input.
This sounds like a hardware bug. We will need to collect some logs and report this to the team so please make sure you open a support ticket if you haven't already.
