I'm having annoying noise coming out of the back fans in my cintiq, opening it and replacing the fan isn't going to be an easy task I can, and sending it out in different country for such trivial issue won't worth the shipping cost and time needed!
- Is there a way I can fix it?
- Is there any type of chemicals I can use on the fans?!
- What if I managed to switch it off! (in the room temperature which doesn't exceed 24c), is this very risky on the chipset?

Fan Noise (Cintiq 16 Pro)
Re: Fan Noise (Cintiq 16 Pro)
In this thread there's somebody who has managed to stop the fans with bent needles and he says that's working for him: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=5185
I'm considering getting a Cintiq 16 pro to do the same thing. I was hoping he could post some pics to see how that looks.
Hopefully Wacom stops ignoring this issue and just gives us a firmware update with an option to stop the fan completely, for all models.

Thanks for your reply...
If will not make an option to turn off the fans (in case this not safe), then at least making the fans replacement easy!! Currently, to reach to the fans, I have to destroy the whole tablet since it's not easy at all to open it up

Re: Fan Noise (Cintiq 16 Pro)
There's some information about disassembly of the 24 model in these reddit thread (read the comments, there's more info there). Some of the info may be applicable.

Wacom should realize that the fact that people are having to mod these tablets to make them usable means it's time to remove the fans.
