Hi,
I just got a Wacom Cintiq Pro 16 and I can't connect it with my NVidia GTX 1060.
The Cintiq Pro 16 (2017) only has Type-C ports and my graphic card only has DisplayPort, HDMI and DVI ports.
The originals cables coming with the Wacom are all Type-C to Type-C or to Mini DisplayPort... So I bought aType-C to DisplayPort cable but it seems the Wacom doesn't support it. I get no DisplayPort signal.
What is the best solution to connect the Pro 16 with a 1060?
Will it work if I buy a Type-C / HDMI cable or maybe a Displayport/Mini Displlayport adapter?
Thx for any help.

No source signal with Wacom Cintiq Pro 16 (2017)
Re: No source signal with Wacom Cintiq Pro 16 (2017)
Hi,
The Cintiq Pro 16 (2017) should come with the Wacom Link or the Wacom Link Plus adapter so you shouldn't need any extra cables.

Yes, it has the Wacom Link. (USB / Mini Displayport)
But my graphic card doesn't have Mini Displayport.
That's why I bought a type-C to Displayport cable... But it doesn't work. (Maybe my DP port on the 1060 is faulty)
So, I'm asking if the Wacom Cintiq Pro 16 works with a simple Type-C/HDMI cable. (without having to buy the Wacom Link PLUS that has HDMI port)
I'd rather buy one hdmi cable for 15€ than pay 80€ for the Wacom Link+ to get another box and extra cables lying around my desktop.

I have never tested this but I don't see why not. It should work as long as the cable is working properly.

Well I tested a 2 in 1 USB-C adapter with a HDMI port, but it didn't work either. ~ Choetech 2in1 USB-C Adapter (Model HUB-M17)
And I read it was because some Type-C don't support alternate mode (dunno what it is).
Thus my question... Adapters are a bit tricky, but what if it a simple cable?
Nobody ever tried to connect a Cintiq Pro 16 with a HDMI cable? ^^'
