Is there any way for the Bamboo to save the page you are writing on until you actually press sync?
Whenever my Bamboo Folio goes into sleep mode, it automatically syncs the page, and when I press the button to wake it the light comes on green, which means I am writing on a new page.
So if I'm not writing constantly my synced pages show up as several disconnected bits on several pages. If I take a note, then take a short break and later keep on writing, that creates a new page. Not a great experience.
You should be able to stay on the page on which you are writing until you purposely press to sync. That's logic, isn't it? I don't want it to sync when it goes to sleep, but only when I choose to.
How can that be done?

Any way to stop sync when Bamboo Slate/Folio device goes to sleep?

Re: Any way to stop sync when Bamboo Slate/Folio device goes to sleep?
I might be misunderstanding something. Pressing the button has several functions, one is starting a new page and the other is synchronizing the page with a mobile device. Synchronizing can only happen, if a mobile device is actually present and paired and the 'automatic sync' in background is activated. If no mobile device is near or it not paired etc, the page is saved in the Slate/Folio until the time comes where pairing and synchronizing is possible.
Before the device goes to sleep, it saves the data. And when you press the button start again, it starts with a new page. I am not aware of a way to avoid that. But, the Inkspace App allows to combine several pages to a single page.

Yes, that was my question. How to stay in the same page instead of starting a new page when pressing to wake the Bamboo. I wasn't aware I could combine pages, thanks.

Apologies for the long wait time. This somehow got hidden.
The functionality you describe is "works as designed".
This is to ensure that there is no loss of data in case the battery dies in between. Content that is not "saved" is in the volatile memory of the device.
Pushing the button (or entering sleep) saves the content as a new page.
Use the merge pages function to get to the page view as you intended to have it on paper.
