Narrow the thickness of drawing

I am a frequent user of the Bamboo Folio and therefore also the Inkspace app.

As I think that the nib in the pen is too thick, I have replaced it with the 0.4 mm nib and like how it draws on the paper. The problem is that now the inkspace app is drawing thicker lines than I am drawing.

So, is there a way to set a narrower line when i draw so that it appears correct in the app?

Yes I gathered that, but my question is why you cant make it an option?

Just allow us to be able to set the line thickness in the app.
